Whenever I go grocery shopping with my 15-year-old son, I end up buying a lot of things that were never, ever on my list. Sometimes, that’s a good thing, and I discover new products that our family loves. That’s how I recently discovered Burman’s Chicken Dipping Sauce at ALDI. It wasn’t something I was looking for, but it turned out to be exactly what we were missing.

What’s So Great About Burman’s Chicken Dipping Sauce at ALDI
I was looking for some Dijon mustard when my son spied Burman’s Chicken Dipping Sauce on the shelf. “Can we get this?” he asked as he put the 16-ounce squeezable container in my cart.
At that point, it wasn’t a question. For only $3.19, I was willing to buy this 16-ounce container of sauce, but I wasn’t sure what we would be using it for. “Mom, it’s just like the sauce you get at Chick-fil-A,” my son explained. Well, as someone who only gets salad from the fast food joint, I did not know that.
But after we got home, I could taste the appeal. I tried the sauce with French fries and thought, okay, it’s a flavored mayo. It’s slightly sweet and tangy, with the taste of apple cider vinegar and spices. It reminded me of a pink sauce I used to get with tater tots at this fun little restaurant near the lakefront, where my friend Bec and I would walk with our dogs.
How To Use Burman Chicken Dipping Sauce
While I could see myself using the sauce for fries or tater tots, my son has used this sauce on absolutely everything. He’s added it to chicken and Italian beef, mini tacos, burgers, fries, and even vegetable slices.
It’s the kind of all-purpose condiment that makes even the most last-minute freezer meal feel a little more special. Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or just a snack, this sauce somehow ends up on the plate. It’s officially earned a permanent spot in our fridge.
I look forward to trying it with club sandwiches, BLTs, crab cakes, and even tortilla española. If you have a teenager in your house, this will become their go-to sauce. It’s worth the price.
