As the weather warms up and the days get longer, I get less and less inclined to hang out in my kitchen. Don't get me wrong, it's my favorite place in the house, but a close second is my yard. I often find myself standing there, gazing at a bird or a flowering plant, not quite sure how I got there. The weather simply calls me.

But it doesn't change my appetite. I still want a delicious dinner every single day, and so does my husband. That's where these recipes come in. They're forgivingly quick and easy, and even when you have to turn on the oven (to roast some succulent garlic chicken and potatoes), feel free to step away for a few minutes and sip a glass of wine on your porch. I certainly will.

  • Beef and Broccoli Noodles

Recipe developer Meghan Splawn says, "This beef and broccoli noodle recipe hits all the umami-rich flavor notes of beef and broccoli in less than 30 minutes while dirtying just a single large skillet, a measuring cup, and a micro grater. You can even grab some grocery shortcuts to minimize the prep and dishes even further."

  • Rattlesnake Pasta

I've never actually eaten the Rattlesnake Pasta at Uno Pizzeria & Grill, but I do know that this pasta is easy and delicious. You can adjust the spice level to your taste and even plate by plate for picky eaters.

  • Broccoli Cheddar Creamy Beans

Creamy beans are the dinner I turn to when I have no time. No time, and barely anything in the fridge. They're filling, delicious, and ready in under 15 minutes flat. This edition works great with frozen chopped broccoli or broccoli cuts.

  • One-Pan Garlic Chicken and Potatoes

"Besides being delicious and simple to prepare, it’s a meal that the whole family can enjoy. Everyone gets to choose their favorite cut of chicken, scoop up as many potatoes as they want, and then have fun spreading the garlic over it all," says recipe developer Sara Haas.

Fridays are meant for pizza, whether you're ordering out, heating up frozen, or making it yourself. And pizza needs a side, like this crisp, flavorful salad. I actually love to heat up a frozen cheese pizza and pile the salad on top. I call it "salad pizza." Genius, I know.
