I Love My Cuisinart Food Processor and It’s Only $30 for Amazon’s Big Spring Sale

It saves me lots of time on meal prep.

I've had a big, heavy Cuisinart food processor for over 10 years. It's a workhorse, noisily chopping nuts, making super smooth pesto and hummus, and blending frozen bananas into soft serve. I even use it to make pie dough.

Because I'm so dedicated to my big 'ole food processor, I never saw the need to get a mini one. Kitchen space is at a premium, so what was the point? Well, after I bit the bullet and ordered one on sale a year ago, now I know. It has changed my meal prep, and now I can't imagine living without my Cuisinart Mini Food Processor. And now it can change your life, too: a popular model is on sale right now for Amazon's Big Spring Sale at just $30! Talk about a steal.

Why I Love the Cuisinart Mini Food Processor

My big, workhorse food processor has one problem—it cannot handle small jobs. Sometimes I just need to chop a few nuts or herbs, or make a little bit of a sauce or dip. If you don't add enough ingredients to a large-capacity processor, it won't do a good job chopping or pureéing because the blades literally can't reach all of the ingredients.

Enter the Cuisinart's Mini Food Processor. Just need a handful of ingredients chopped? Or just making enough dressing for a small family? Don't bother lugging out your big food processor—it can't handle it anyway. This mini food processor will make quick work of it.

It only has two functions, "chop" and the more aggressive "grind," but that's all you need. It saves me time on dinner prep since it can finely chop ingredients in a fraction of the time it would take me to do by hand.

Why You Should Buy the Cuisinart Mini Food Processor While It's On Sale

First off, it's a great deal and very low risk. Less than $30 for a kitchen appliance? Unheard of. It's lightweight (very different story from their bigger models) and doesn't take up much room. The cord even retracts for easy storage. It also doesn't have that many parts—a lid, a blade, and a work bowl. They're all dishwasher safe and won't take up your whole rack like my big food processor does.

I use mine often for chopping nuts, grinding up Parmesan cheese, making salsa and pesto, and chopping ingredients that need to be fine for certain recipes, like onion. Unlike my large food processor, I don't blink an eye when pulling my mini one out since it's so easy to clean and store. A real time saver!
